The V.A Cup Let take our look and focuss on the comming V.A Cup that will be played by local teams, both males and females very soon than expected. This is a tournament that determines which teams will represent Swaziland in the Zone VI Senior Club Championships towards the end of each year. For now let us focuss on the top 4 female teams namely: 1. Bob Ladies 2. Dolphin Correctional 3. Zakhele and 4. Ncabaneni These 4 teams have always dominated the top 4 in our local female side and each battle with them becomes a fight for honors. In the past Bob Ladies have always been a sut above the rest with the best players they had. They have been dealing with everything that stood on their way with a win. Well that was up untill the past 1 or two years when Sunrise Correctional was born thus giving birth to a very powerful team Dolphin Correctional which is a ladies team. Dolphin Correctional has been seen wanting to be the new force to recjon in the females competition as they became one of the other teams that manages to take Bob Ladies to extremes. The previous year they somehow booted out Zakhele ladies to claim a sport in the Zone VI Club championships but then due to local volleyball politics they did not attend the tournament. But they have claimed gold in a couple of local tournaments. Having said that, this leaves me with Zakhele Ladies to deal with next. This is one of the well organised teams with good players as well. Just as I have mentioned, they were somehow booted by Dolphin the previous year in the V.A Cup and they could not earn a sport in the Zone VI club championships. In one year we caw them claiming gold in one local females league. Last but not least is the very defencive Ncabaneni Ladies Team that does not give a damn of any team profile or status. They have a very formidable defence which is their stronghold. Unfotunately they have not earned any local gold medal but Im very much positive that this year they will be looking foward to change things. So who will be on the apex? Never ignore that it will be a very tough contention as all these 4 teams have players representing Swaziland in the senior female squard. Do not go away more is yet to come
