The Vengeance of Pintar On this morn I awoke on the ground - TopicsExpress

The Vengeance of Pintar On this morn I awoke on the ground bathed in glistening dew, Outside not a step more than thirty from the City gate, My first thought was of Pintar and then of you, My scabbard over my shoulder, steady was my gait, Before the sun was risen my blade proved it be true, And all me before me knew, That nothing would halt my quest, not even the walls of this City state. My blade has been like a traveling troubadour, It has sang its song, and there is still yet a song left to sing, You are a slut to evil, a darkened whore, Prepare yourself dishonorable one! En Guarde! Defend yourself and listen to my steels truest ring! When I am done I shall allow grief to my heart, And you will be dead, miserable, cowardly, king! Cringe in fear at my bloody vengeance filled cry! For you detestable one, I hope it is a good day to die! Of the deeds done this day, songs shall be sang! And the sun shall shine on you, black birds will fly, They will sing of your dishonor and of your ugly shame, I shall walk away upon my steadiest of feet, And for you, your black heart will cease to beat! Hear this as you die, my steel truthfully finding its mark, That Pintar was my Sword Brother, A warrior by caste, A poet by heart!! deVillieaux
