The Veterans Administration, in a shocking and unprecedented turn, has somehow fouled up enough paperwork that... they have finally increased my service connection rating. This, of course, is due to the the awful state of politics that our terrible, shifty, and unworthy president has created and is undoubtedly a plot to undermine my second commandment rights. I am now officially moved from the Yeah, yeah, weve all got bad backs. This probably isnt our fault anyway level to the Oh my god, I think something we did messed you up... how are you still alive? level. As you know this puts me just two rungs below the nearly-unobtainable, Were sorry level... which usually comes sometime after the delivery of a free headstone. A level I am NOT looking to achieve prematurely. Id like to thank my producers, my agent (Hi Phil!) and all the members of the academy. Its only taken 12 years, reams of paperwork, letters to/from Clinton, Bush, & Obama (no really) and the testimony of half a dozen doctors (all employed by the VA -and- in full agreement with me) to get this done. Now, if I can just get them to back date it all to the date of surgery (in 2004) well be done. In the meantime - Grade B steaks and discount champagne are on me!
