The Veterans in my family. My Father served in Korea, spent most of his service in Japan in the supply chain. My wifes father Joe Evans was an AF Pilot in WWII who revolutionized the air traffic control industry and was a central player in the automation of the ATC industry. My Brother in law, Tom Chapman, a direct descendant of Johnny (Appleseed) Chapman, served in Vietnam as a Navy medic, corpsman. His son is the incarnation of Johnny Appleseed Chapman today. Johnny is a US Marine, retired. My Mothers Brother Irving Penn served in WWII as an infantryman. My nephew Nicholas Pinto is a new recruit, following in his grandfathers footsteps he is in the Air Force. My cousin Michael Rubin was also a pilot in the services during Vietnam. He took me up in a small private plane when I was a kid. These are only the ones of which I am aware and have pictures. There are others. I am proud to have a rich family history of service to our country even though I was not eligible to serve myself. Thanks to all the servicemen and women who sacrificed from your families!
