The Victorian Liberals have made an election pledge to invest $6.8 - TopicsExpress

The Victorian Liberals have made an election pledge to invest $6.8 million towards reinstating the PGPPP program, which was defunded by the Federal Government in this years Budget. Reinstating PGPPP will not only allow numerous prevocational trainees to experience community general practice in rural areas, but will also help sustain more internships in Victoria. AMSA commends this commitment and urges the ALP to match it. A brief primer on the PGPPP issue can be read in this AMSA blog post written earlier in the year: amsa.co/pgpppblog
