The Video Bar wasnt a live music venue, it was a club that showed obscure alternative music videos on two large screens and a dozen or so TV sets. Located in the building right next door to the 7-11 at Elm and Good Latiimer, The Video Bar scored the coup of the year when they brought in Nine Inch Nails for their Dallas debut. The room held 200 people on a normal evening, bit on this particular evening there at least 500 people crammed inside. Many have this on their personal Top Ten list of favorite Deep Ellum shows of all time.
