The Village School of North Bennington put on a wonderful Winter Concert tonight...The Chorus sang some beautiful Xmas songs with the members putting their hearts and souls into their singing.. All their hard work and practice sure did pay off...Alexis is a memeber of the choir and did a great job..Loved watching her sing!!!.They ALL deserve a big round of applause for some great singing...They also have a small band that did a wondeful job..Great to listen to them also.........This school also has a large number of students enrolled in the String Ensemble and Alicia is a member of Ensemble ...Alicia did a great job on the violin and I loved watching her....Again all the kids in the Ensemble did a great job...They worked hard and they did a great job.. Then at the very end, the students who had been told all week that at the close of the show there would be a big surprise for them, waited to see what that surprise would be...So as they all sat on the floor in front of the stage the stage curtain opened up and there were all the teachers ,including the principal ,who were ready to rock out for the students!!!They had reindeers antlers on their heads and they sang some rocking Xmas songs and they showed their students they were all good dancers and singers..They were rocking teachers!!!.It was so cute to see the delight in the kids faces as the watched the performance..They all got such a kick out of their teachers and prinicpal !!!!..Everyone enjoyed it!!!Those teachers were a delight for the students just as the students were a delight for the teachers and parents... Thanks students and teachers of the Village School of North Benningon for a truly great night!!!!
