The Vineland All-Middle School Production Company will be hosting a pasta dinner fundraiser on Friday, Jan. 30 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the North Italy Club, 414 Virano Lane. Guests may eat-in or take-out. Dinner tickets are $10 each and may be purchased in advance from any cast member OR at the door. Guests who decide to dine in will have a chance to win some items and see a performance by VAMPs upcoming production of Annie Jr. Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit The Gabriel Project, a non-profit organization founded in 1990 by the late Mark Melamed. The Gabriel Project raises money to pay for life-saving surgery for children all over the world. The organization has also helped local children who need surgery and whose families cannot afford it. Mr. Melamed, a longtime educator at Veterans Memorial School, headed the project until his untimely passing from cancer in 2013.
