Diligence as a virtue is required in every venture that must succeed, including building christian faith as Peter the apostle outlined in the above epistle. The need to develop and apply diligence in our everyday life is crucial. What actually is diligence? Diligence is the persistent and hardworking effort in doing something.it implies working hard and doing your absolute best with every endeavour that is, taking special care by doing things step by step to achieve the best of result. The need to be diligent in our work,our witness and our prayer life cannot be over-emphasised. In the pursuit of a successful and fruitful Christian life,,diligence is a basic requirement.
