The Voice UK: Meet Team Danny: Mitchell Emms, Andrea Begley and Karl Michael As we continue the countdown to the live shows, here’s a chance to get to know more about Team Danny – Mitchell Emms, Andrea Begley and Karl Michael. The trio were put through to the final live shows by Danny at the weekend and this Friday will be singing for the public’s votes for the first time. First up there’s rocker Mitchel Emms, who is a self taught singer and multi instrumentalist, able to play guitar, bass, drums and piano. With his dad as his own personal roadie Mitchel has played gigs up and down the country and headlined a festival in Turkey playing to over 3,000 people! Having had two record contracts and recorded vocals on a Bruno Mars track, you may think that Karl Michael has already made it. But after being dropped by his record label, Karl now lives in a bedsit with a communal bathroom and earns his cash as a barman and window cleaner. Will The Voice prove third time lucky for him? Finally there’s Andrea Begley, who started losing her sight at 6 years old and now only has 10% residual vision but she’s never let that stop her. She’s studying a Masters Degree in Law, learning the guitar, gigging around Belfast and now wowing The Voice coaches with her angelic vocals. The Voice UK 2013 live shows start on BBC One this Friday, June 8.
