The WOD for 5.12.14 is... Slow Train to Nowhere Against a 13 minute clock 150 Wall Balls 20/14 50 Pull Ups 25 Ring Dips Hey guys, since Im on the slow train to nowhere myself, (Seriously! How do trains get delayed?!?) the morning classes will be coached by our super awesome other coaches for one more day. 5 AM Lisa 6 AM Taylor 7 AM Josh Beebe 9 AM Hoan 4, 5, and 6 PM will be taught by Coach K. There will be NO womens class. It will return on Wednesday. Also, there has been a lot of interest surrounding this strength program. So let me tell you what the plan is with that. It will be very similar to what I had my regionals team doing to prep for the competition. It is ONLY for people that have already been Crossfitting for a significant time, and can look at the whiteboard with no questions about the movements. Athletes that participate in the strength portion are expected to show up to the gym warmed up, and will not be be warming up with the class. The strength program will run primarily Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. We will be drilling skills and bodyweight movements on Wednesday and Saturday. People NOT participating in the strength portion, will be warming up with the coaches, and then progressing through the movements in the workout. This will give us more time to focus on those people that need help with the movements. Classes will still perform the group WOD together. The strength cycle will begin Thursday. It would be beneficial (but not required) to know the maxes of your standard lifts. Look forward to being back in the gym with you guys!
