The Waldo Way boutique dairy store is thrilled that so many families are choosing excellent foods and that we get to be a part of this paradigm shift in our very own community. The first picture was taken this past Wednesday morning as car after car lined-up at our gates to purchase their Golden Guernsey milk, yogurt, and kefir. Over 20 cars were in line prior to the gates opening and they just kept coming throughout the day. Second picture: Holly, representing the Tyler Milk Club, is consulting her group by phone on how many gallons and how many yogurts she needs to pick-up. Thanks for coming out to the farm Tyler Milk Club. Families are also taking advantage of buying quality fresh produce that is locally grown. By the way, Trentons tip jar seemed to be just the answer for letting customers decide how much they wanted to contribute to their local farmer while expediting their checkout too. Many were generous and we thank you for your support. We have cucumbers, an assortment of peppers, Israel Melons, and watermelons left. Some of our customers have been lucky enough to be in the store when Kaycee brings in her hot fresh homemade rosemary bread. With the warmth beneath your hands and the aroma wafting through the air they are soon whisked away for your special dinner table guests. In addition, she makes homemade hummus, granola, gluten-free baked goods including muffins, chocolate chip cookies and sweet breads available in the store for your enjoyment. Third picture: Trenton and I made a fresh batch of homemade peanut butter, both plain and local raw honey added for a delicate touch of sweetness. Wish each of you could smell the store when the peanuts are oozing through the grinder. To us, our farm is a dream come true and we are living life in full-rich color because of you who come to visit. For it is each of you who adds color, shape, style, character, and dimension to our dream.
