The Walsh family visited with us last week and tallied their total raised by Team Leah Marie at this years St. Johns Wishmaker Walk. We wanted to share their message with you! Thank you, for playing a very special role in the 2014 Wishmaker Walk for Wishes in support of The Childrens Wish Foundation of Canada. We are so very proud to announce that your participation in Team Leah Marie helped raise $15,275.60 this year! Our daughter, Leah Marie, took part in the Wishmaker Walk for 10 years and raised thousands of dollars so that other Wish Children and families could experience the magic of a Wish. Since Leah Maries passing on December 12th, 2008 at the age of 17, our family organized Team Leah Marie and continued to take part in the Wishmaker Walk. We have now raised a grand total of $60,092.04 in the last six years to grant more wishes right here in Newfoundland & Labrador. Thanks to all members of Team Leah Marie for their support in keeping Leah Maries memory alive and continuing her dream of granting a wish. A wish creates hope, strength, and healing for a family, and because of your continued involvement in the Wishmaker Walk, Team Leah Marie continues to share the magical experience of a Wish with even more families.
