The Walt Disney Family Museum will receive a Special Achievement Award at the 42nd Annie Awards, scheduled Jan. 31 at UCLA’s Royce Hall. The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood, will honor The Walt Disney Family Museum for its “unique and significant impact on the art and industry of animation.” Ron Miller — Walt Disney’s son-in-law and the president of The Walt Disney Family Museum’s Board of Directors — will be attending the ceremony to accept the award.
