The Washington Supreme Court declared that the State Constitution says a simple majority is necessary for a tax increase unless the people amend the Constitution. Now the Republicans in the Senate have passed a rule that requires 2/3 vote. This is in direct conflict with the Supreme Courts ruling and a blatant violation of the Constitution. This by Republicans who grandstand that they want the Constitution strictly followed! How do my conservative friends feel about this?
