The Washington Technology Industry Association provides Washington’s powerful technology industry the connections, resources and advocacy needs to build sustainable innovation and economic growth. The Events Manager is responsible for planning and managing the execution of the member programming. The annual calendar includes 50-60 events that range from executive roundtables to an annual black-tie gala. Events are a core offering to WTIA members. Events range from technical forums, talks by industry thought leaders, professional development seminars and fun networking events; the success of the events is front and center of operations. Recruiting speakers and managing the annual event budget will be additional key responsibilities of this position. The ability to demonstrate flexibility, willingness to pitch in wherever necessary, add creative energy and be a net positive force are all aligned with the work culture.
