Remember the Lord in all you do, and he will give you success.--Proverbs 3:5-6 NCV Its so easy to feel like we need to control everything, isn’t it? After all, who will look out for us if we don’t do it? Scripture tells us that God does! We are asked specifically NOT to trust in our own understanding. “My plans aren’t your plans, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord.”--Isaiah 55:8 This verse reminds us that we cannot really fathom how God does and doesn’t work. For this reason, when we feel like we need control over a situation we should remind ourselves that God understands better than we do and that He will probably handle it in a way that we wouldn’t and that is ok! This is because we know that scripture tells us: “Cast your burden on the Lord- he will support you! God will never let the righteous be shaken!”--Psalm 55:22
