Rod Thompson, Interim Minister We say the Unison Affirmation every Sunday, where this is the third line; but I wonder if we know to what you are committing yourselves. Im going to look at each of the six lines of this affirmation, one at a time, one a month, continuing with this Sunday. Ill want your responses, too. SPECIAL NOTES FROM HOSLITALITY: 1. There has been little interest expressed in the proposed Dinners for 8 from neither hosts nor guests. Fellowship may have misread the potential interest in this activity. If there is no interest expressed by March 16, Fellowship will cancel this activity. 2. If you are planning or hosting an event at UUCG involving food and will buy plastic cutlery, dont (DO NOT) buy spoons or knives. There is a more than ample supply of spoons and knives; just need to buy forks. Upcoming Congregational Events March 11th 6:30 pm Session 3 - The Wi$dom Path: Money, spirit and Life! Postponed from last Tuesday The UUA have developed this new development program and we are a Test Site! The program deals with money and the way it intersects with our spiritual and ethical values. The course will be offered at 6:30 pm Tuesday evenings. There is no charge for this program. Please call or email Rev Rod right away if you want to participate. A sign-up sheet will also be available on Sunday. On March 16th YRE will be planting vegetables in the garden plot behind the building. This means the garden bed needs some attention! Anyone can stop by and help clean up the garden anytime before March 16th. We do have an established oregano patch, a side bed of mint plants and a rosemary bush that should be left as they are, but all other plants need to be cleared out. Please place any plant material pulled out of the beds into the black compost bin near the garden. March 19th , We will receive at least 5% of all sales at McAlisters Deli between 5:00 and 9:00 PM Wednesday, March 19th. Come and eat with fellow UUs. Bring your friends, bring your acquaintances, and bring any strangers who look interesting. April 4-27 Dinners for 8 are coming back!! Fellowship is first asking for members who want to host a dinner. When the hosts are identified, the entire congregation will have the opportunity to sign up to participate at a dinner.
