The Weighted Blanket Thread: My weighted blanket arrived! Weeeee! I have it sitting on my lap in its package, and the weight is so comforting, just as it is, resting in its plastic sleeve. Im making a ceremony out of opening it up, and enjoying the weight on my lap. It is like my lap is being hugged! The blanket is custom made to my specifications, as are all the blankets this company does. The company is Sensory Goods, an AZ small manufacturer specializing in Autistic solutions. They offer many good things, including the chewy toy i bought, and nice ideas like hugging swings, weighted lap blankets, weighted neck pillows, and compression vests with weights. Two free calendars arrived with my blanket, with white spaces plenty large enough to write down upcoming activites (we aspies prefer everything written down with lots of advance warning of events). The blanket is my xmas present from my beloved mother Lynne Radoff-Florio: thank you thank you thank you! I love you. Thank you for caring for me.
