The Wheeze & Suck Band will be Ross Fear’s studio guests on Alive 90.5 fm Australian Spectrum Show 9pm Tuesday 27 January feauring their new seventh album “The Macclesfield Dandy”. The Wheeze & Suck Band are regulars at folk clubs and festivals on Australia’s east and south coasts, from Brisbane down to the Illawarra and on to South Australia. A Wheeze and Suck performance is an experience. Colourful costumes, heaps of audience participation, and the occasional foray into the audience mid-song. Winners of the 2005 Australian Association of Songwriters Award for ‘Tyburn Fayre’ and runners up in 2004 and 2005 MusicOz songwriting Awards for ‘Rag and Bone’ and ‘Johnny in the Morning’.
