The White House Lady Devils claim the Region 5-AA softball championship with an incredible 1-0 win over previous district champion Greenbrier in nine innings. WH scored the go-ahead run on a single in the top of the ninth and then held off a bases-loaded, one out jam in the bottom of the ninth to preserve the win. White House will host the Class AA sectional Friday against the loser of Giles County and Creek Wood and the winner of Fridays game will go to the Class AA Spring Fling State Tournament.
