The White House announced Thursday that global LGBT rights advocate and nephew of Harvey Milk, Stuart Milk, civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis, U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, Frmr Campbell City MayorEvan Low, Deputy Postmaster General Ronald Stroman, Harvey Milk Foundation co-founder Anne Kronenberg, Victory Institute President Chuck Wolfe, Grammy singer/songwriter Mary Lambert and US Sen. Tammy Baldwin, the first lesbian U.S. senator, will all come together on May 22 to dedicate the first day of issue of the stamp featuring Milk, who is the first openly gay elected or public official to be featured on a U.S. stamp.
