The White House utterly fails to understand how important Israel is to America. We need Israel as much as Israel needs us. Hopes for peaceful, stable governments spreading in the region begin and end with the only democratic nation in the Middle East, Israel. The United States support for Israel does not just stem from our values, but also our shared interest - Israel is an absolutely vital strategic partner, and an irreplaceable contributor in the fields of science, medicine, technology, economics, and so much more.
