The Wild Horses of Namibia are famous, and quite easy to see, if you are driving towards Luderitz on the West Coast. The story goes that a German settler, left the country after the 1st World War, and left his horses, which were a present to his wife, to fend for themselves. There are several hundred descendnats of these free roaming horses now, and a waterhole and hide has been put up about 60km from Luderitz which is well worth spending a few hours at. On the way we saw bat-eared Fox; Chestnut-vented Tit-babbler, Common Fiscal with the unique white strip [coronatus] common to the region;
