The Window Todays wedding of my daughter Kelly was absolutely perfect, and while I was sitting in the front row of the barn there was a window up high behind them. Its a perfect MN day here right now as Im writing this. Anyway as the vows were being exchanged between Derrick and Kelly I looked up through that window and I thought of all the heroes. My heroes that cant be here with us anymore and then I thought of my family here my Airborne Family fights for our freedom, we fight for our brother on our left, and our brother on our right. All of this was going through my PTSD ridden brain and I started to hold back the tears because I know our heroes are looking down and blessing my daughter and her new husband. I was so happy, sad, and amazed as I looked up. I became more determined to help our vets. I dont like losing brothers to this shit, and thats putting it mildly, and if you know me you would know thats true. So there it is. The wedding was beautiful and jaxon, my grandson is the miracle that saved this vets life. I will never forget this day, or my Airborne Family you brothers are this vets life line right now and always! HOOAH, A /ATW, its a good day.... Cpl. McCarren US ARMY
