The Womens Section of the Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir have launched 2 new facebook pages, entitled Qanitat - Righteous and Devout Muslimah Link to Arabic page: facebook/Qanitatht Link to English page: facebook/Qanitat1924 These pages will seek to explain who the Muslim woman is and discuss the comprehensive Islamic personality that she should aspire to attain, as well as how Islam should shape the various aspects of her life. They will address the dilemmas and struggles she faces in adhering to her deen or raising her children under the light of the Qur’an and Sunnah due to living within societies where she is surrounded by non-Islamic values, traditions, or laws. AND they will discuss her important role in working for the global revival of Islam and the establishment of the Islamic Khilafah state. The pages will also challenge the lies surrounding Islam and women, and aim to present a clearer and more accurate understanding of the status and rights of women under Islamic rule. AND, they will put forward the Islamic perspective and solutions to the global debates regarding the problems afflicting women and children across the world. The pages will provide coverage of the international news stories related to women and children, and engage in campaigns to raise awareness of the plight of Muslim women and children in all parts of the globe. In addition, they will aim to create a greater appreciation of the rich Islamic culture and history, especially related to women, as well as a deeper understanding of the Islamic social system that addresses the relationship between men and women within society and their roles in marriage and family life. Alongside all this, they will provide a greater insight into what the implementation of Hizb ut Tahrir’s Draft Constitution for the Khilafah will mean to the lives of women who live under the shade of its Islamic laws and systems. As part of these pages, we would also like to address the questions that you are often faced with, with regards to the status, rights, and lives of women in the Shariah and under Islamic rule.
