The Wonders of Jet Lag Or, Conversations my Body has had with itself since Arriving in Spain - Part I. Eyes: Where are we? Brain: Spain. Muscles: What time is it? Brain: It’s 10:30 PM. Eyes: No, that’s not right. The sun is still out. Muscles: That sounds right – I’m tired. Brain: No, it’s right. But I’m wide awake. Eyes: Why does that sign say it’s only 37 degrees? Skin: That’s definitely wrong. It’s just below 99 degrees. Brain: They use a different system here. It is about 99 degrees. Eyes: So it’s almost 11:00 PM, but the sun is out and it’s 99 degrees… Where are we again?
