The Worlds End is a very sober and emotional, and sometimes even pitch black story about how none of us can ever truly escape the shackles of our own pasts, while also driving home the point that even those who long for those distant shores of yore can never truly step foot on them again in the same way as they one did. I dont know if thats such a good grade though, considering it was sold as a action/comedy with Simon Pegg with a bunch of drunken shenanigans.
