The Wurzels are a Somerset-based Scrumpy and Western band who are best known for their 1976 number one hit Combine Harvester, and number three hit I Am A Cider Drinker based on the song Una Paloma Blanca, they have a history stretching back over 40 years, and still perform to this day. The Combine Harvester, a re-work of the lyrics of Brand New Key, by Melanie, topped the charts for 2 weeks in 1976.
