The X Factor 2014: Watch video for Ben Haenows debut single Something I Need The X Factor 2014 champion Ben Haenow has unveiled the official music video for his debut single ‘Something I Need’. The clip consists entirely of footage from the talent contest, charting Ben’s journey from the room auditions to the moment when Dermot O’Leary named him the winner in Sunday’s grand final. It is preceded by the logo of Together For Short Lives, the children’s charity which will receive the profits raised from sales of the OneRepublic cover. Ben is currently on course to score the Christmas number one, with Wednesday’s midweek chart putting him 33,000 copies ahead of his nearest rival, Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk’. However, the former van driver’s momentum appears to be waning, as he has since slipped to two on the iTunes singles chart, with Ronson overtaking him. Ben is also now facing unexpected competition from internet star and potential Celebrity Big Brother contestant ‘Wealdstone Raider’, who is at three on iTunes with his charity single ‘Got No Fans’. The results of this year’s Christmas chart race will be announced on Sunday.
