The YWCA of Calgary is in crisis management mode. The flooding affected all facilities and services of the YWCA and the women and children we serve. We have an urgent need for monetary donations to address the extraordinary expenses incurred over the past week: • Evacuation and transportation of the women and children of YWCA Mary Dover House and YWCA Sheriff King Home Shelter • Ongoing safety and well being of our clients • Reclamation of the YWCA of Calgary building • Flood damage to our ground level facilities at our downtown location including our laundry facilities, ESL and Parent Link Corridor, and community fitness centre.
