The Yaghnobi people are an ethnic minority in Tajikistan. They inhabit Tajikistans Sughd province in the valleys of the Yagnob, Kul and Varzob rivers. The Yaghnobis are considered to be descendants of the Sogdian-speaking peoples who once inhabited most of Central Asia beyond the Amu Darya River. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yaghnobi_people They speak the Yaghnobi language, a living Eastern Iranian language (the other living members being Pashto, Ossetic and the Pamir languages). Yaghnobi is spoken in the upper valley of the Yaghnob River in the Zarafshan area of Tajikistan by the Yaghnobi people. It is considered to be a direct descendant of Sogdians. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yaghnobi_language Sogdiana was the ancient civilization of an Aryan-Iranian people and a province of the Achaemenid Empire, eighteenth in the list on the Behistun Inscription of Darius the Great (i. 16). Sogdiana is listed as the second of the good lands and countries that Ahura Mazda created. This region is listed second after Airyanem Vaejah, homeland of the Aryans, in the Zoroastrian book of Vendidad, indicating the importance of this region from ancient times. Sogdiana, at different times, included territories around Samarkand, Bukhara, Khujand, Panjikent and Shahrisabz in modern Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. https://youtube/watch?v=vOL88iACiFk The Formula of the Aryan-Iranian Identity = Zoroastrianism + Aryan-Iranian peoples [descendants of Medes, Pars and Parthes/Dahaeans/Sogdians] + Greater IRAN As you can see, there is no place for islam in this formula #Tajikistan #Kurdistan #Peshmerga #Peshmarga #Zoroastrianism #Zartosht #Zoroastrian #Iran #Iranian #Persian #Medes #Achaemenid #Afgan #Afganistan #Sassanid #Parthe #Cyrus #Darius #Aryan #Tajik #Hazara #Uzbek #Uzbekistan #Turkmenistan #Sogdian #Yaghnobian #Azerbaijan
