The Year of the Film Professionals 3: Season with Film Composer, Cho Young Wuk We are proud to present a series of films for the 3rd quarter of the Year of the Film Professionals - moving from the cinematographer Chung Chung Hoon season to film composer Cho Young Wuk. KCC will be screening the first film next Thursday: The Contact (1997) directed by Jang Yoon- Hyun. The Contact Director: Jang Yoon-hyun Cast: Han Seok-gyu, Jeon Do-yeon 106min / Cert.15 Dong- Hyun is a lonely radio DJ who has been left with a broken heart as he gets dumped by his girlfriend. Lovelorn and scorned his mood is lifted when he receives a copy of a Velvet Underground LP thinking that it is a gift from his ex. Since it holds a special meaning for his demised relationship, he plays Pale Blue Eyes from the record. Meanwhile, listening on the radio, Soo-hyun, a home shopping telemarketer, becomes mesmerized by the song. Over the Internet she contact’s Dong-hyun requesting for the song to be played again. Dong-hyun obliges and replies, hoping that his mysterious listener is his ex-girlfriend or someone she knows... Will Dong- Hyun find out who sent the LP to him?
