The Yew Trees next to my home, the foundation of the spiritual - TopicsExpress

The Yew Trees next to my home, the foundation of the spiritual landscape throughout Scotland. The second picture shows clearly the regenerative power of the Yew Tree, and why it is a symbol of healing, transformation and resurrection. The tree has fallen onto its side at some point in history, but has continued to grow and regenerate, a testimony to the healing and mystical powers of these wise elders. The Yew Tree has been targeted for destruction in an attempt to eradicate all evidence of the Druidic roots of Christianity throughout my homeland. The ancient Yew has sacrificed itself over and over again as a symbol of the deep and bleeding wound in the spirit of humanity that can heal. This is one of the many messages of the Yew... I am eternally grateful for the enduring wisdom and legacy of the ancient Yews, and what they continue to teach and inspire... As Hageneder states, To experience the Yew through a truly spiritual understanding of its language is to be touched by eternity...
