The Yoke Shall Be Broken Isaiah 10:27 16 January 2015 Lonnie Jones Good Morning My Friends! January 16th and this month is half gone already. Twenty-seven degrees here at 5 AM with a forecast of forty-three. Yeh! Praise the Lord for this warmer weather this week. Tomorrow about fifty! Well this morning as I meditated my thoughts focused on our walking as Victorious Christians. We talked about making the impossibilities possible with God the two days ago with Luke 1:37, “Nothing is impossible with God” as He has everything and every situation in our lives under control. If you don’t believe this principle, please read the book of Job! You know, several days ago I cited Ephesians 3:20, “Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works with us.” This verse tells us that we are empowered by God to be more than conquerors (Romans 8:37) in Christ Jesus, and that we have supernatural strength available to us through Him. So this morning, God has taken me to Isaiah 10:27 concerning breaking the yoke of Satan in our life. This verses says, “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” So, it is God’s desire that the burdens of Satan be broken and this can occur for us we draw close to the Lord Jesus Christ, believe, trust and walk in Him claiming the power that God has given us in the person of the Holy Spirit. Amen! The fact is that the yoke of Satan can and shall be destroyed because God anoints us with power through the Holy Spirit dwelling and working within us. Our prayers can be changed from lifeless and faithless formalities to energized petitions by the anointing of the Holy Spirit! With the anointing upon us, you and I can face the uncertainties of the future with confidence and with a great expectation that our circumstances and things in our lives will no longer keep us in bondage. I believe that the anointing of the Holy Spirit in our lives not only will break the yoke that is intended to keep us in bondage, but will also enable us to reach out to others and help them break the yokes that are keeping them in personal subjection to the devil and his devices. Does Philippians 4:13 not say that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me?” In closing, Psalm 92:10 says that you and I will be anointed with fresh oil. Our God refreshes us so we can refresh others. He invigorates us so we can invigorate others. He liberates or frees us so that we can free others. The yoke shall be destroyed because of the invigorating, refreshing anointing of the Holy Spirit. Amen! Have a victorious day as you seek the Lord to be freed of Satan’s burdens and yoke.
