The Young Communist League of South Africa, remains the prominent - TopicsExpress

The Young Communist League of South Africa, remains the prominent weapon at the hands of the working-class youth that continues to be exploited daily at the hands of the oppressive and exclusive system of capital. I say this because, there is not other youth-wing of the van-guard Party of Socialism capable to lead young people to their absolution from neo-colonial bondages. However, as an organisation we must begin to have a deep and a critical self-introspection. The YCL has grown over the year quantitatively and qualitatively to a certain degree, but we do need to reposition ourselves in order to efficient in responding to socio-economic challenges the working-class youth if facing today... we must begin to move away from being a reactive organisation to a proactive organisation, I have four suggestions on how do we move forward: 1. The organisation must now focus on building itself politically and ideologically. 2, YCL must begin to contest the public domain on its ideas, meaning a new communication mechanism must be derived. 3. We as members must begin to take ownership of the organisation as are the neclues of the organisation through crafting programmes that directly speaks on the plight of the toiling masses 4. The Red October memorial must seize to be an ornament in some history gallery of Communists, we must speak unto a continuous programme that will motivate and encourage membership of the Young Communist League in advancing the goal for socialism in our lifetime... I will pause there! As we await the National Congress of the only Youth-Wing of the Party of Socialism
