The Young and the Restless spoilers: Melissa Claire Egan leaves show, Billy chooses Victoria, Adam Newmans return? Published 19 August 2014 | Azalea Pena In the past weeks, a love triangle was brewing between Billy, Victoria and Chelsea. However, it looks like Chelsea wont be in the running for Billys heart anymore. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Melissa Claire Egan, the actress who plays Chelsea, will go on a vacation as scheduled. This means that we wont see Chelsea in The Young and the Restless for a couple of weeks. Anyhow, here are the other spoilers for Y&R this week: Y&R head writer Shelly Altman had to weave Egans departure in the story. She does this by making Chelsea realize that she will always be second to Victoria in Billys heart. Billy really does care for Victoria. And for this reason, she decides to leave Genoa City. Altman told Celeb Dirty Laundry: Its clear to Chelsea that Victoria still occupies a big place in Billys heart. Later, Chelsea informs Billy that shes leaving town. Billys surprisingly disappointed to hear it. Chelseas seizing on a work opportunity to sort out her confusing feelings. Talking about Chelseas departure, its been a rumor that Chelseas supposedly dead husband, Adam Newman, will be coming back to Y&R. The actor to play Adam is still not confirmed, but it wont be Michael Muhney. If he does come back, Chelseas departure will be a good move so she doesnt have to deal with Billy and Adam drama. But before Chelsea leaves, she will learn that grandpa Victor wasnt the one who gave Connor a soccer ball for his birthday. With some clever thinking, she might actually realize that Adam is very much alive. Chelseas departure will open new story arcs, but what fans really want to know is if Billy will change his mind now that he will lose Chelsea. And what happens when Chelsea discovers that her husband is actually alive and wants to stay with their son Connor? Get the answers in The Young and the Restless on CBS every weekday at 12:30 p.m.
