The ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE Artwalk was a lot of fun. We stopped at several artist displays and picked up some nifty gifities for those we love. First stop was the Public Market where I purchased a key ring pill case from Matthew Donovan Woodworking. Matthew makes beautiful custom pens, matthewdonovanwoodworking@gmail. I then stepped across the aisle to talk with Daniel OConner, who does really gorgeous woodwork, his site is penstofurniture. We stopped at Black Waters by Bob & Melanie Delaney. She had really great metal work that would go well inside or outside your house. We bought a dragon fly and a piggy garden stake, but she had many more exotic and beautiful items. facebook/blackwatersmetal. I like cookies and hellosweetiesbakery had rows of yummy samples. Thank Kasey Kubica, I really loved those samples. I got some cookies to go. On our way out the door I dropped my last dollar on the Habitat for Humanity raffle table and got some really good information on where to get repurposed building materials from Christy. I hope I spelled her name correctly. We strolled out, crossed the street to hear a band playing almost on the street. Im not sure who they were because they changed their name several times but they were doin it to it out there, singin up a storm. Out in front of the theater was Cheryl, selling as Dragonfly Dangles, my daughter grabbed a pair of her very reasonably price earrings. Back down the line I pulled up to chat with Becky Woodworth, who had some excellent photographs for sale. Great wildlife shots. ShutterNutimages@yahoo. Back across Bay street was April Shelton. She covered the gamut of talent with photography, pyrography, wood carving and to top it off shes an author. She has two digital books on amazon, Dumpy the Puppy and Nogaros Journey from the Chronicles of Nogard. April is at work on the second book of the Chronicles of Nogard. Good luck! Sprinkled throughout this adventure were ZOMBIES of course but they left me alone because, well, no brain. There was a group out in front of the Library putting on ZOMBIE makeup, so that everyone was appropriately horrifying. We needed a respite at that point and hit the road, having had a fine afternoon stroll through a fun event.
