The Zimmerman Case; Verdict: Not Guilty Opinions? All right I - TopicsExpress

The Zimmerman Case; Verdict: Not Guilty Opinions? All right I had such a good debate on my university news and debate page that I wanted to see what all of you, my friends and family thought. Now I know politics can get a little heated (and has done so in the past) so I’m going to lay out ground rules before this begins 1. Respect each other’s opinions In politics there is no such thing as a ‘right’ answer I don’t care if what is said deeply conflicts with your beliefs you must respect the fact that other people disagree with you, you can however use it as an opportunity to provide evidence to show them why your point of view is less wrong than theirs (key word EVIDENCE) 2. No personal insults or swearing This is a debate not an argument, you want to swear unintelligently go to a pub or a bar and yell at someone there, all comments containing swearing or personal insults will be deleted as soon as I see it. 3. Keep an open mind Debates are about seeking truths and gaining knowledge, not about ‘winning’ or being right
