The Zondo saga comes few days after I posted the FB status on 19/01/15. Shhhh, go ahead do it I wont tell anyone, its our secrete between you and me. And soon after you fall into that temptation, the devil is the first one to expose you. #devilthings. Following his fornication scandal, we have had many of his fans coming out in his defense some quoting Jesus when He said, let he who is without sin cast the first stone and saying dont judge. But are people judging Zondo or they are demanding accountability on his part? Is Jesus misquoted when He made the statement above? If it was someone else who have not declared themselves pastor in the Christian organization, would they face the same criticism as Zondo is? Some have said Zondo had made fornication his lifestyle and he certainly looks very much confident parading naked when the lady took his video. In the bible we find a story about Samson, a Nazarite whom God had not only giving influence like Zondos motivational grace. Samson had power even physically such that he killed many of his enemies. We are told, he too had a weakness when it came to women. Despite the powers which God had given him, his weakness led him to ultimate death. King Solomon too whom the bible says is the richest man to ever lived also had issues with women which led to his demise. Is Zondo not judged by his behavior and are people wrong for demanding accountability especially from a man who has set himself as a leader of a highly respected Christian organization which uphold moral ground in the society?
