The absolute bedrock and anchor of the faith is the cross. All those who preach other than the cross without compromise or embarrassment are championing another faith altogether. These are the days when goats sound like sheep and false teachers are unbelievably popular. These are dark days indeed. Is it not astounding that men can stand behind pulpits and ignore the kindness of God at Calvary? What spiritual hubris! What spiritual blindness! What carnal arrogance! To them the cross is a symbol of defeat and should be stuffed inside a doctrinal box so we can pursue our own dreams. What blasphemy!
