The advanced driving course for Stagecoach Coach Bus Drivers to bring them up to the required level for driving abroad, has been put on hold until the authorities in all countries, cut grooves into the walls of very tight tunnels. The present standard is sufficient to cope with all situations but due to ever increasing running costs and to be competitive with other operators, the company can only do the routes using their fleet of Scania Enviros so the grooves are required to allow the mirrors to go through!
