The afterglow: I hope none of you will find yourself in the situation where you need to be on the receiving end of other peoples prayers but if you are, I hope you will be as blessed as I have been in the paI am so humbled and amazed at the support I can feel. You still must open your heart and be willing to accept the love being sent to you. I am on so many prayer chains that I think I can probably glow in the dark. Last weekend I was able to return to my hometown Church of Zion in Ruthven where I was able to sing. Pastor explained after stroke last year my family was told I might not survive surgery and may never walk or talk again. I wanted to give God the glory as I walked upthe aisle. My sisters Susan Irwin and Marcia Langner joined me as we sang. I told the congregation the song was one I had learned 50 years in THIS church, in junior choir and that I still sing it so often my daily walks of therapy with husband Gary Anderson also knows the words. We sing together which fills meme with such pure joy! Every step I take I take with Jesus. He is always by my side. Over the hills and walking in the valley, He will always be my guide. Every step I take I take with Jesus, when beset or sorely tried. Hes my strength, He is my hope in glory. In His love I shall abide! I ii was emotional but I was able to keep my composure while I gave testimony, and personally thank my church family for their prayers and for being the foundation of my childhood faith. , which sustains me along he way. I have such love, honor, and respect for them. Now, even days later I am still glowing as I recall again, the joys of being HOME.
