The aim of the awards is to encourage organisations and individuals who distinguish themselves in their various areas of specialty with the objective of creating a healthy competition and also geared at making consumer service providers to render quality and competitive service to their customers while adding value to the entire growth of Jos City, and also promoting tourism and bringing attraction to the Tin City. By recognising these organisations and individuals who have been able to set up their businesses, been successful at it and able to stand out while doing so, it is hoped that others who have doubt about the town will be motivated, and as such create a cycle of change.
