The alif-tau is simply a grammatical requirement of the language. The את is a direct object marker, none different than other languages with similar untranslated grammatical requirements. For example; in Spanish, when the direct object is a person or domesticated animal (especially a pet) it is preceded by the preposition a. i.e. A DIRECT OBJECT MARKER. This marker also has NO ENGLISH TRANSLATION. From the perspective of the English speaker, the personal a and the Hebrew את appear to be an extra word. From the perspective of the Spanish speaker and the Hebrew literate, the personal a and the direct object marker את are required, and even though the markers are not translated in English to not use them is a serious grammatical error. So the fact that the את is untranslated in Biblical Hebrew is not some theological suppression encased in mysticism. It is actually quite normal. The proponents of the את is Jesus/Yshua doctrine have not taken the time to intricately study Biblical Hebrew or any other language comparatively. The agenda is to make Jesus the answer to any question in which information is not properly gathered to render an accurate conclusion. Business as usual for anyone who holds a belief in higher esteem than seeking knowledge and applying logic.
