The announcement of Prophethood took place When he ﷺ reached the age of forty years and a few days. He ﷺ was a Prophet before Hazrat Adam alayhi salam it was the announcement which took place at the age of forty (kuntu nabiyyan wa adamu bayn al rooh wal jasad) He ﷺ received the first revelation as mentioned above on Monday, the eighth day of Rabiý al-Awwal. The people of Makkah then blockaded him ﷺ and he ﷺ was confined to the hollow of Abū Ţālib along with his family for more than three years. When they emerged from the valley [after the blockade was eased] he ﷺ was forty-nine years old. Eight months and twenty-one days after the boycott collapsed, his ﷺ uncle Abū Ţālib died; [Sayyidah] Khadījah (may Allah tala be pleased with her) died three days later. When he ﷺ reached fifty years and three months, a party of Jinn of the Naşībīn came to him ﷺ and became Muslims. #LightOfSight #YaRasoolAllah #Mawlid
