The anointing is the evidence of the presence of the anointed one. Hence one will need to follow the anointing to follow Christ. Many have been diligent in their allegiance to their local Churches but have not developed the vital relationship with the anointed one because He is not manifested in their Church. It is unfortunate many dont even know what the true anointing is. Is it the thunderous preaching, pious worship, or the excellent exposition of the word? Is a service anointed because people fall under the power or the demonstration of something supernatural? Can the anointing be measured by the emotional frenzy generated by the preaching or the worship songs? Ignorance of the true anointing, many are in churches, and others commute to conferences to follow diverse theatrics which has been propagated as the anointing. They evidently have not become Christians in spite of all that they have acquired in these services because they were not following the real anointing. Ignorant of the true anointing, many have been lead astray by hype, advertisement propaganda, administrative skills or intellectual and oratory skills. Others still have been bewitched and entangled in the web of occultic powers that has also been tagged as the anointing. Such have become victims of demonic oppressions and manipulations of witchcraft. Many followed all these anti-anointing because they had no correct assessment for the true anointing. Until we embrace Gods assessment of His anointing, we will miss the anointed ones that God has ordained to lead us.
