The answer seems pretty obvious. I read an article by a facebook friend who asserted, there is evidence to suggest that MH17 was shot down by an air-to-air and not surface-to-air missile. The evidence is the numerous small holes on the body of plane. These can be accounted for by the numerous shrapnels, already contained INSIDE an anti-aircraft missile. Now such shrapnels are mostly present in air-to-air missiles, very less often in surface-to-air missiles, owing to weight problems.
