The aphorism “know thy self” did not begin with the Greeks. - TopicsExpress

The aphorism “know thy self” did not begin with the Greeks. The thought is very ancient. In fact, “know thy self” is an aphorism of the Great Existence itself. “Know thy self” is contemporary with the notion of “knowledge of self.” What this means is that you are the reference or locus of destiny (causation). In addition, “know thy self” is man’s proclamation in reference to himself or herself and the Great Existence (Kache Ayah). This is like two mirrors facing each other. One reflects the other perpetually (nuwn). Concurrently, fractal geometry is offering mathematical and geometrical testimony of the aphorism “know thy self.” This is not only true for man but also it is true for the universe itself; for ALL is mental and each has a mind. The highest numeral in mathematics is the Number Nine. It is the integer that numerically affirms the existence of the mental universe as explained by the first and second doctrines of the Sacred Wisdom of Tehuti: (a) the doctrine of mental and (b) the doctrine of correspondence. For instance, the numbers above and below the numeric chiasm of the nine multiplication table are mirrored (doctrine of correspondence). Furthermore, the digit sums of all numbers in the nine times table can be condensed to nine itself. This property is testimony of self-similarity and scale invariance (doctrine of mental). Furthermore, let’s take a look at the products 9 x 5 and 9 x 6 and calculate their digit sums. Above chiasm: 9 x 5 = 45 = 4 + 5 = 9. Below chiasm: 9 x 6 = 54 = 5 + 4 = 9. The numeric chiasm or crosspiece (χ) between the numbers 45 and 54 is similar in function and in design as the optic chiasm, which is located just below the hypothalamus of the human brain. Remember, any nine or combination of numbers which add to nine, can be cast out or thought of as ZERO and vice versa (9 = 0). This simple arithmetic procedure, known as casting In and Out the nines, demonstrate that there is continuity and correspondence with the integers nine and zero. The number nine depicts the spiral, whereas the number zero depicts the circle. Geometrically, these patterns are the same but differ in degree or scale (i.e., space, matter, and time). The eighth doctrine of the Sacred Wisdom of Tehuti, the doctrine of growth and creation, is testimony to the geometrical and mathematical patterns of growth (nuwn) and creation. The mind grows, illness grows, bacteria grow, habits grow, and thoughts grow in accordance with some type of geometrical pattern that can be described mathematically. For instance, bacteria have logarithmic and exponential growth patterns. Logarithmic patterns and exponential patterns are inverses of each other. In other words, nine can become zero and vice versa. And the spiral can become the circle and vice versa. - Pa Neter
