The appointed feasts of the LORD(YHWH) God our heavenly Father - TopicsExpress

The appointed feasts of the LORD(YHWH) God our heavenly Father written in Leviticus 23, each one of them represents the acts of God and the coming of the Messiah. Pesach, the Passover(Lev. 23:5) represents the first coming of the Messiah Yeshua(Jesus) 2000 years ago and His atoning death as the Passover Lamb. Yom Omer, the day to waver the first fruit of harvest(Lev.23:11) represents the Resurrection of the Messiah which took place 3 days after the Passover of 2000 years ago. Shavuot, the Feast of Weeks(Lev.23:15) represents the outpouring of the Spirit of the LORD(YHWH), the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, as well as on the same day of 3500 years ago, the Ten Commandments, the Word of the LORD(YHWH) was given at Mt. Sinai. All these three appointed feasts are the spring festivals in Israel as spring rain represents the first coming of the Messiah(Hosea 6:3). Likewise, the autumn appointed feasts of the LORD(YHWH) God of Israel represent the second coming of Yeshua(Jesus) the Jewish Messiah who is worshipped as the Christ by all nations. Yom Truah, the Day of the Trumpet(Lev.23:24) represents the Return of our Lord Yeshua(Jesus) with the sound of heavenly trumpet blast - Matthew 24:31, 1 Corinthians 15:52, 1 Thessalonians 4:16. Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement represents the national repentance of Israel and the reconciliation of Jewish people with their own Messiah who they rejected 2000 years ago. Just like the moving picture of Joseph`s reconciliation with his brothers in Genesis 45, the sacred moment of our Lord with His own little brethren (Matthew 25:40). Chag haSukkot, the feast of the Tabernacles(Lev.23:34) represents the Reign of the Messiah, the Messianic kingdom on the earth for 1000 years(Revelation 20:4-6), just like in Daniel`s vision - "the Son of Man coming with clouds of heaven ..... and His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away and His kingdom will never end" (Daniel 7:13-14). Amen! Come, Lord Jesus(Yeshua)! - Revelation 22:20
